Do this. It really works! Maybe even worth downloading firefox just to get the turbo performance, but you oughta be able to tune other browsers too maybe....

So I get this in a bulletin and I try it out and with firefox my broadband connection is like lightspeed.
Ok so i hate myspace.... yet i find myself here all the damn time. yeah it fucking shuts down all the time and sometimes posting in a forum takes forever, but i still am here all the time... wtf is wrong with me? oh well i just have to admit it i guess, myspace is fun. there i said it, sue me. it isn't nearly as bad since i found out this little gem
Even faster Firefox for broadband users
1. Type about:config into the address bar and hit return. scroll down and look for the following entries"
network.http.pipelining
network.http.proxy.pipelining
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
2. alter the entries as follows
set network.http.pipelining to true
set network.http.proxy.pipelining to true
set network.http.pipelining.maxrequests to 30 or so this means it will make 30 request to a web page at the same time
3.Lastly, right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. name it nglayout.initialpaint.delay and set its value to 0(zero) this value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on the information it receives.
broadband users, welcome to Firefox at lightspeed!
this is something i did to my Firefox and i cant believe how much faster it is. pages in myspace even usually load in less than 3 seconds. so try it out
